Trend Hegemony
A Trading System Designed to Make the Most Money from Plunging Currencies

One of the distinguishing features of the FOREX market is the longevity of trends at higher bar intervals. Pick almost any currency pair and take a look at the weekly chart and you'll find yourself asking why trading FOREX is so hard. Its easy to spot fully formed seemingly continuous trends. A quick calculation of pips leads you to have visions of early retirement. In reality, you would need very deep pockets and nerves of steel to hold a position of the magnitude depicted by the weekly bar chart. The Trend Hegemony Currency Trading System is designed to capture the maximum profit from significantly trending currencies. To do this Trend Hegemony splits lengthy trends into segments delineated by momentum. The system only trades those segments which experience heavy and enduring selling pressure. Since these periods of volatility only occur once or twice a year, Trend Hegemony makes the most of the move by averaging up positions until the trend appears to be diminishing at which time the system closes all positions. Unfortunately, there is no straight line to wealth in the FOREX market. During the course of all major trends the market periodically experiences pullbacks. Depending on the severity of the initial fall the pullback may be equally fierce wiping out stops and eliminating you from the position. Trend Hegemony is designed to withstand volatility associated with major trend trading. Often, a pullback may lead to a multi week range bound period before resuming the original fall. These so called "Sucker's Rally" are filled with sharp price spikes and can be devastating to your account. When combined with Range Trader Pro, The Trend Hegemony System is designed to turn itself off and allow Range Trader Pro to trade the range. When the primary trend resumes Trend Hegemony reactivates and Range Trader Pro shuts down. Although far from perfect the combination of these two powerful systems are an extremely potent force in generating reliable profits from the FOREX market.

How Does It Work?

Trend Hegemony is available only as an automated trading system. Neuro Forex does not offer an email signal for this system. Trend Hegemony consists of numerous software components which are configured as a single system operating as a standalone workstation within the Neuro Forex office. The system monitors the currency market through its real time data feed. New incoming data is combined with our historical database and converted into our proprietary indicator array. The indicator results are processed by our state of the art neural network which ultimately determines which conditions warrant a BUY or SELL. Once a decision is made to open or close a position our transaction processing software connects, via its computer interface, to the client's brokerage account. Once connected the software checks for sufficient equity and margin before proceeding to generate market orders. The new position ticket numbers are then stored in our internal client account database to close the positions when the trade has expired. The system continuously monitors the market looking for trading opportunities 24 hours a day. However, since Trend Hegemony is a trend following system which is only interested in major trends there may be frequent periods of inactivity. Presumably, prices are in a consolidation phase during these inactive periods and trading is best left to Range Trader Pro. Trend Hegemony uses hedge counter trades as an alternative to hard stop orders since stops are easily hit during the frequent pullbacks normally associated with significantly trending markets. However, the system can be configured to use stop orders if the client so desires. Because global events can affect the FOREX market practically anytime, Neuro Forex personnel are on hand during the weekly trading session to handle urgent technical or other matters.

Neuro Forex is not a brokerage. Your FOREX account is yours and yours alone. Neuro Forex trades your account by authority of a Limited Power of Attorney which you grant us for the sole purpose of entering trades. We do not have signatory control over the funds in the brokerage account. Only you, the account holder, can deposit and withdraw funds. One way to look at it is that two parties share the brokerage account; one makes the money and the other takes the money out. Its just that simple. As the account holder you can inspect the account at anytime. Check the equity, run trading reports or simply see how major trend trading is done. Neuro Forex bills the account holder monthly based on the following formula: (Transaction Size * 500). Here are some examples of the billing formula:

Number of Lots Description Multiplier Monthly Cost Minimum Capital
0.1 One Mini 500 $50 $5,000
0.2 Two Minis 500 $100 $10,000
0.5 Half a Lot 500 $250 $25,000
1.0 One Lot 500 $500 $50,000
2.0 Two Lots 500 $1,000 $100,000

Professionals Only

Trend Hegemony is a high risk system and is available to licensed financial professionals only. Why? Well, professionals understand the meaning of risk and its place in a personal portfolio. For example; a balanced portfolio will have a combination of assets which should range from the mundane safe to the more rewarding growth instruments. It is this perceived balance of assets that provide a feeling of security whether real or not. A portfolio composed strictly of FOREX currencies provides nothing but fear and anxiety. With fear comes the potential for the dreaded lawsuit. We strongly believe that Trend Hegemony is the world's most profitable trend following currency trading system. However, it is not a time machine so we cannot travel to the future and return with tomorrows Wall Street Journal. Despite our best efforts and intentions things can go wrong. It is the financial professional's certification that attests the understanding of this very fact. It is our intention that Trend Hegemony will be used in building growth portfolios but represent only a small aspect of the entire investment (albeit the riskier part). Neuro Forex considers you a professional if you have successfully passed the NASD Series 7 examination or are a state registered investment advisor. Citizens of countries other than the United States, whom are not residing in the U.S., are not subject to this requirement unless prohibited by law. However, all subscribers must sign a risk advisory document.

Performance

The following table shows the performance of Trend Hegemony for the period of four calendar years of January 2002 to December 2005. Please note that these are simulated results and do not reflect actual trades made. Profits are measured in pips so the actual monetary amount gained depends on the transaction size. Profits do not include the brokerage cost of executing the trade nor does it include interest which the brokerage would charge for holding overnight positions.

Warning: Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Please see  FULL RISK DISCLOSURE  for details.

Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under or over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.

The trade report for the performance period shows the system opened only 135 positions in four years. The performance implies a system which produces 2 to 3 trades a month. Actually, the trades are consolidated around periods of swift price moves such as witnessed by the dollar fall of October 2004. In general, the system requires sustained price action in a single direction in order for the system to activate. The Trend Hegemony System consists of two behavioral models: One that takes profit and one that stays with the trend until the end. The strategies which take profit early sporadically appear in the trade log and are designed to lead into the major trend. Once the real trend is confirmed the secondary strategies engage and begin to average up positions. The system continues to increase (average up) the position size as the trend continues. The longer the trend, the more trades are added. When the trend begins to falter, the primary position and trades added to it are closed. Also note that because positions are held for longer periods relative to Range Trader Pro more profit is extracted per trade. Conversely, larger draw downs are experienced as illustrated in the performance summary. Please contact us to receive the year to date 2006 performance (also a simulation).

Looking To Start Your Own Fund?

Each Trend Hegemony workstation has the capacity to manage up to 20 client accounts. Our billing strategy is relatively low when compared with the profit potential of the system over a long period of time. Our thinking is that a fund manager can lease a Trend Hegemony system and still be able to charge a premium while providing their client a handsome annual return on investment. How much the client earns and how much the fund manager can charge depends on the risk parameters selected for the system. These parameters are dictated by the fund manager and determine the transaction size and capital requirements. Of course, Trend Hegemony should only occupy one aspect of a larger portfolio but would likely (our opinion) be the main gainer of the bunch. Management of each the fund's client account is easy since the fund manager has direct control of the actual brokerage account and is therefore able to run quarterly statements and profit or loss reports. You build client portfolios and we manage the trading machine. Its a professional relationship that is beneficial to all parties. If you are a registered commodities merchant and are interested in starting your own fund then consider a relationship with Neuro Forex as a good starting point and build your revenue from there. We invite you to try our system free for thirty days on a demo account. We are confident that you'll see an opportunity to advance your portfolios through this sophisticated product!
